In this assignment we used the techniques from the infographic before. This time, we used a map that referred to the topic of our final project. In the final project we have to find an immigrant that has done something significant since thier move to the U.S. The process of making this map was quite tedious. First I used the pen tool in InDesign to trace the shape of China, then the other countries, then colored them, separated the boardering countries from each other, and then named the countries and oceans. I then placed the already made north symbol and world map view on the bottom of the map. At the top includes the headline and chatter, then there is the body, and a byline. There is also another, more broad view of China in its relation to the rest of the world is shown in an inset picture at the bottem.
