The first photo is the original and the second photo has been digitally retouched using Photoshop. This photo illustration is from a series of photos i took to exemplify the thrifting process- old clothes being thrown away and then relived through new owners. We used Photoshop to restore our photos. In Photoshop I lowered the exposure in the the photo, increased the contrast and intensity in the photo. Then I used a technique where I first created a new layer on top of the photo, painted it black, then erased parts of the haze from elements in the picture I felt needed more detail or clarity.
